Emmanuel Wetang’ula is the Deputy Managing Partner and a member of the Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He specializes in civil and commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation including banking and finance law, employment law, defamation law, professional negligence, constitutional law and judicial review, public procurement law, land, environmental law and occasionally criminal law.

Emmanuel was admitted to the Bar in the year 2005. He holds an undergraduate law degree from the University of Nairobi and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He is currently undertaking a Masters in Public Law & Administration at the University of Nairobi.

Away from the law, Emmanuel is a golfer and also plays a game of football at least once a week. In golf, don’t let the concept of hitting a ball with a stick fool you, the game is not easy at all. Equally the practice of the law is not easy as per short edited clips presented by the media.
