Personal Profile
Eva Aremo is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Practice Group with over six years’ experience advising and representing multinational corporations, financial institutions, state corporations, regulatory authorities and private sector entities in commercial litigation, constitutional and administrative law, arbitration, employment law, regulatory compliance and cross-border legal matters. Her practice also encompasses competition law, data protection, insolvency and environmental, social and governance (ESG) advisory.
Eva combines strong dispute resolution expertise with a practical understanding of regulatory and commercial risk, enabling her to deliver strategic, commercially focused legal solutions. She regularly acts before the superior courts of Kenya, specialist tribunals and arbitral tribunals, advises on domestic, regional and international mandates and heads the firm’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Sub-Practice Group.
Eva is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), Kenya and UK Branch, the Law Society of Kenya and was in the Court of Appeal Bar-Bench Committee (2024 – 2026).
Eva was admitted to the Bar in the year 2020. She holds an undergraduate law degree from Strathmore University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. She is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) and completed a FIDIC Module 1 Course on the Practical Use of FIDIC Conditions of Contracts in February 2023.
Eva enjoys watching Formula One motorsport racing. She would like to watch and experience a Formula One race live on the track. As a Lewis Hamilton fan, she hopes to meet him at least once in her life.
