Patrick Nguri is an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial Transactions Practice Group. He specializes in commercial advisory, corporate and transaction structuring, competition law, arbitration and intellectual property and technology.

Patrick was admitted to the Bar in the year 2020. He holds an undergraduate law degree from the University of Nairobi and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. Patrick is a registered Patent agent with the Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI) and a PECB-licenced Data Protection Officer. He has also completed a Summer School Certificate in Intellectual Property Law at the International Intellectual Property Training Institute (IIPTI) in Daejeon, South Korea, with support from WIPO.

At around age 8, Patrick was introduced to Scrabble by his parents. He considers himself a connoisseur of Scrabble, and applies similar strategy, memory, and choice of words in his practice of law. When not working, Patrick enjoys travelling, snooker and soccer.
